Family Lab
How to reconcile education, family, and technology? How to educate children and teenagers in the use of digital devices, helping them develop a positive, responsible, and aware relationship with media?
The profound changes in society and families related to the widespread dissemination and intensive use of digital tools have altered the way personal interactions are created and maintained. The digital has become a central element in organizing family life, in the relationship between family and school, in the methods of study and learning for young people, and in the tools used for communication within families. Despite this, it is not always easy to reconcile the needs of individuals and exploit the digital as a resource.
This schedule proposes experiences to help families, education professionals, and caregivers effectively manage the uses and consumption of digital media in family contexts, to go beyond the concept of screen time and propose a pedagogy of contract and negotiation applied to technology education.
